Literary Pieces

Jeremy May creates rings from books using a unique laminating process. This is quite amazing.

Thanks Jay!

Recycling is Golden

I love that these precious pendants are made from discarded toys and such. It's like a Cinderella story - from rags to riches, or in this case from junk to 24 carat gold.

Healing Powers

I'm not very partial to old wives tales about the spiritual healing powers of crystals, but because the look of the pendants at "Unearthen" are so awesome I am willing to reconsider. The raw cuts of delicious coloured crystals are placed in what looks like bullet shells. My favorite is the "Green Thumb". Time for a trip to Opening Ceremony!
Also, love the design and interaction of their website; you can click on each crystal and a larger image with details of the so called 'benefits' will pop-up.

Barbie Bits

I love this lady's work. The first time I saw it, I was like 'ugh! ugh?' - or in other words, a serious case of horrible fascination. Now that I'm looking at the pieces again, they're actually really cute and well-made. If you ever feel the odd desire (like me) to buy some cold hard titties shaped like hearts and such, new pieces go up for sale on Feb 28th - save the date.

Little Things

http://www.etsy.com/index.php

If you're feeling like some online shopping, I'd recommend 'Etsy' ("your place to buy and sell all things handmade"), especially if you want some way unique/cute stuff to stand out.

For example, love "Paraphernalia" - vintage-like illustrations on jewelry
